In this soaring view, wingtips are used heavily but even the tail is being used.  The bird is facing the window.
The downward flexed primaries on the right wing will bank the bird to its left.  The strongly twisted tail will turn the bird to its left.
The combined flexed primaries and twisted tail will move the bird's path paralel to the windows intead of into the windows
