This photo was taken immediately above a nestsite used for over 50 years.  The nest had been under observation
in the early 1970s from a photo blind built by Dan True.  The ledge the original nest was built on caved in
around 1990 I believe.  A new nest was built about 30 feet to the side.  The cliff behind the remains of this nest
are riddled with craters from bullets, both rimfire and high powered.  Today a recreational jeep tour road passes
within 50 yards of the nest remains.
